Special Education News - December 2009

Draft Individual Education Plans were sent home on October 16^th. We thank the 50% of parents and guardians who have returned the Contact Form. We ask that the remainder of the Contact
Forms be returned before December 16^th so that we may update the IEPs and meet this Ministry obligation. If however you need clarification on any of the documentation, please contact us. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

On-Line to Success is a course offered for students with learning disabilities which teaches students more about their own learning disability, self-advocacy skills, adaptive technology, and learning strategies for college and university. This on-line course is offered through Queen's University and the deadline for registration is Friday, December 4^th. For further information, contact M. Gavan-Knox at 613 384-1919 ext. 3426.
