The Crusader baseball team knocked off long time rivals Frontenac Falcons in the KASSAA finals 3-1. Starting pitcher Cole Kaiser pitched near perfect in his 4 innings work before giving way to relief pitcher Tanner Hoffman. Clutch hitting by Andrew Stickland and Derek Schmeler gave the Crusaders an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning. The Falcons gave them a scare in the top of the 7th scoring 1 run and leaving 2 runners on to end the game.
