Junior Boys Basketball
February 4, 2010On Tuesday February 2, 2010 the Junior Boys Basketball team jumped right back in to their season games after a short exam break. The break seemed to have no effect on the boys as they returned to play, winning 47-29 over the Sydenham Eagles. Today at Holy Cross at 3:30 the Junior Boys will face the QE Raiders to determine first place. We wish them good luck! |
February 11, 2010The Junior Boys will begin their journey through the play-offs on Tuesday February 16. The boys will host the Sydenham Eagles at 4:00pm. Come out and cheer them on! |

Yesterday, the Junior Boys played in the KASSAA basketball finals against the Frontenac Falcons at the new Queens Centre. The boys started out with an outstanding lead and had control of the game until the fourth quarter. It was a phenomenal display for the fans to watch. Steve Unkerskov scored 17, Tyler Check scored 16 and Maracle scored 15 for the Crusaders, which led by 8 at the break. Unfortunately for the boys they could not stay on top, a dramatic swing gave the Falcons their first lead of the game. It was a disappointing end to the season for the Junior Boys, with it being their first and only loss. We are all very proud and can say that they represented our school well this season.
