Junior Girls Volleyball

The Junior Girls' hard fought season came to an end last night. The girls played hard but lost 3-0 to Regi. The team had a fantastic season with a 5-8 record, having nine of the girls playing at the KASSAA level for the first time. Eight of the twelve girls are eligible to play Junior Volleyball next year. We look forward to next season girls, great job!

We wish the Junior Girls’ the best of luck tonight for their quarter final game. The team is playing Holy Cross’s rival school, Regi. The girls play at Regi at four o’clock. Good luck ladies!

The Junior Girls’ Volleyball team convincingly defeated the QECVI Raiders as the visiting team, last night, in their final regular season game. The girls won 3-0. It was an impressive, quick, 37 minute match that showcased all of the girls’ hard work and improvement through the season. Highlights of the game were strong performances from rookies, Keira Lapierre, Anita Hojabr, Paulina Rodrigues and Kianna Mau. The Junior Girls’ are excited for their play off debut on Tuesday, February 16th at Regi.

During last night’s match at Sydenham, the Junior Girls’ Volleyball team was defeated in three hard fought sets. The scores were 25-20, 25-12 and 25-23. Brooke Maschi was both a strong offensive and defensive force for the Crusaders’ with strong serves, kills and blocks.
