Swimming

The Holy Cross swim team competed in the EOSSAA championships, which were hosted by Ernestown Secondary School at W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre. We congratulate our swimmers, who represented our school extremely well with seven medal performances. Among these outstanding athletes were:

Laura Perry: 4 silver medal performances in 50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 individual medley, and 100 backstroke.

Malcolm Hodgkiss: a silver and bronze in 100 and 50 freestyle respectively.

Benedikt Decker: a bronze in 50 butterfly

Two of our swimmers, Laura Perry and Jenna Gregg performed outstandingly and qualified for the OFSSAA championships despite significantly shortened qualifying times. Although Laura Perry will not be attending the championships, her superior efforts are recognized.
