Coffee House 2012

The Holy Cross Coffee House is comprised of our many talented students within the school. The Coffee House gives our students an opportunity to express their many talents such as; singing, dancing, musical talents, magic tricks, acting and much, much more! This is a night of excitement and entertainment that shouldn't be missed! Ensure to listen to announcements, and watch for posts about the upcoming Coffee House.

Improv Team

The Holy Cross 2011-2012 Improv team is comprised of eight talented students. This year's team consists of: Tyler Check, Michaela McGrath, Grace Hill, Hailey Masterson, Arianna Bullett, Miguel Martin, Talia Phillips, Matt McGlashin, and Ms.Rose and Mr. Stabile as our team coaches. These eight students will be devoted to improv for the next three months, rehearsing for the Kingston Regional Improv Games. preliminary round take place Fenruary 21st-24thFifteen schools from across the region will take place in this week long tournament. The top five teams will compete in a final round on February 25th,2012.

Each team must compete in four "structures" or games which use the suggestions from the audience. The team that scores the highest number of points in each round wins and moves on to the Canadian Improv Games in Ottawa, April 3rd-7th, 2012.

Ensure to listen to announcements and postings about the HC improv team, so that you can head out to support them in their future competitions.

Phantom of The Opera- An Outstanding Success!

The Holy Cross Arts Department presents the musical The Phantom of the Opera from November 28th until December 3rd, 2011 with a total of 6 performances, it is sure to be an excellent show that can’t be missed!

A love, obsession, musical, mystery performance  written by Gaston Leroux and presented by over  100 students, staff, musicians, band members and volunteers in the Holy Cross community. The students who have been practicing day in and day out are very excited to perform how Christine is torn between choosing Raoul and The Phantom, knowing it is wrong to choose the Phantom yet can’t help herself.  This shows the control the Phantom has over Christine. “You resist yet your soul obeys” This line was quoted from main character Tyler Check, describing a very important line in the performance.

Main Characters:
