Information For Students Entering Grade 9
Grade 8 students and their parents are provided with a great deal of information about registering for Grade 9 at Holy Cross Secondary School. This information is compiled below and can be accessed by choosing the appropriate link. The staff of the Holy Cross Student Services Department are available to answer any questions you may have. The staff of the Holy Cross Guidance Department presented a Grade 8 Parent Information Evening on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012. Here is the PowerPoint presentation from that evening.
The Grade 9 Information Booklet includes school directory, general program information, school uniform policy, diploma requirements and Grade 9 course descriptions.
Feeder school students will select their courses on-line using these instructions. Non-feeder school students must complete a Grade 9 Course Selection Sheet and submit it with their registration form.

Grade 9 Exploring Technologies (TIG 1O) is a video which describes this new and exciting course which will allow Grade 9 students to explore the interesting and ever-changing Technological Education area.
