Dear families,
Welcome back to a new school year! On behalf of the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, I am pleased to welcome our students, staff, and families back to our Catholic school communities.
As we begin this year together, we give thanks for the gift of Catholic education and for the opportunity to learn, grow and serve in faith-filled communities.
I look forward to being part of and witnessing the many moments of learning and creativity that will unfold throughout this school year, including classroom projects, school celebrations and student growth and leadership. These joyful moments are among the highlights I am especially looking forward to this year.
May God bless our students, families and staff as we begin this new school year with hope, joy and a renewed commitment to helping each child know they are loved, heard, and have the conditions they need to succeed. May we also carry forward a shared commitment to treating one another with respect, kindness and compassion, and to holding one another up as members of one faith-filled community.
