Local Leaders and Community Partners come together to create Anti-Racist Campaign

ALCDSB is pleased to be a community partner with The Anti-Racism Working Group (ARTF), a task force established to address increasing occurrences of racist incidents within the Kingston area.

The anti-racist campaign has been created to address racism in the region by focusing on individuals’ experiences with racism and how community members can respond.

The SHINE Club is seeking racialized BIPOC individuals who self-identity as; Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Colour, to serve as volunteer facilitators and to work with racialized BIPOC children within ALCDSB schools and children/youth serving organizations in the Trenton, Belleville and Kingston regions.

The ALCDSB Applied Behaviour Analysis Team welcomed the Honourable Todd Smith, Minister of Education, school board trustees and members of the senior team to St. Michael Catholic School this week to learn about the Board’s the Ready, Set, School Program.

Moving On Up 2024 – Camp Details – Communication #1

Welcome to Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (HC)!

We are committed to providing incoming Grade 9 students with an optimal introduction and learning experience at HC. We are planning to host a two-day HC orientation program, Moving On Up – Transition Camp: Tuesday, August 27th and Wednesday, August 28th....and we invite you to attend.

This program is offered at no cost, and it will focus on helping you become familiar with your new school environment by engaging in team building activities.
